Ashrang police station in Lalitpur inundated

Kathmandu: The police station in Ashrang, Lalitpur has been inundated following flooding in the local Likuni River.

According to SP Naresh Subedi of the District Police Office Lalitpur, the floodwaters from the river entered the Ashrang police station last night.

The flood, which caused the Hume pipe to break, resulted in significant water damage to the police station located in Bagmati Rural Municipality Ward No. 6, Ashrang. Additionally, the nearby school has experienced disruptions in its teaching and learning activities due to the flooding.
