Kathmandu: The price of gold in the Nepali market surpassed 1 lakh 45 thousand rupees per tola on Sunday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of gold increased by 1,000 rupees from Friday's rate of 144,400 rupees per tola, reaching 145,400 rupees on Sunday.

The Federation also set the price of 22 carat at 1 lakh 44 thousand 700 rupees per tola.

Silver prices also rose. Previously fixed at 1,870 rupees per tola on Friday, silver was traded at 1,890 rupees per tola on Sunday.
