Approximately 100 people applied for RSP ambassadorial quota

Kathmandu : As of Wednesday, almost a hundred people had applied for the two ambassadorial posts that the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been allotted.

The RSP's foreign affairs chief, Shishir Khanal, is in charge of overseeing the application process. The deadline for applications to be submitted is this Friday, according to the party.
The 'Ambassador Recommendation Criteria 2024' has been prepared by party members Sobita Gautam and Prof. Dr. Atindra Dahal.

On June 24, a public notice inviting applications for ambassadorial jobs was released based on this criteria.
Coordinator Khanal said, "We've got about 100 applications so far. Given that Friday is the deadline, this figure might go up even higher."

As a result, the applicant selection process won't start until Friday."

"The selection process may take some time," he said, adding that a decision would be made on Friday.

It was decided on June 20 by RSP President Lamichhane, Home Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda,' CPN-UML President KP Sharma Oli, and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' to give each party a certain number of ambassadors.
It was so decided to choose five ambassadors from the UML, two from the JSP led by Ashok Rai, two from the RSP, and one from the Maoist party.
