Seven-point agreement between the government and parliament secretariat staff
A seven-point agreement has been reached between the protesting parliament secretariat staff and the government.
The talks involving Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Padam Giri, Parliament Secretariat Secretary General Padma Prasad Pandey, and the agitating staff union concluded with an agreement on Monday.
According to the agreement, the staff will receive lunch allowance, educational allowance and overtime allowance. The staff had been agitating for the last 21 days.
