Baikuntha Aryal refuses to step down, transferred to National Planning Commission

Kathmandu: Baikuntha Aryal, the Chief Secretary, has been appointed to a special position at the National Planning Commission by the government.

The government sent Aryal to the Planning Commission in a special role after he refused to step down as Chief Secretary.

Aryal was transferred by establishing a separate position at the National Planning Commission by the Council of Ministers meeting held on Monday.

The appointment of Liladevi Gadtaula as the Acting Chief Secretary remains unchanged, according to Minister DP Aryal.
