CIAA filing a case against Chief Secretary at the Special Court (Photos)

Kathmandu: Commission for the Investigation of the Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has reached the Special Court on Sunday with the complaints in the excise sticker printing case against Chief Secretary Dr. Baikuntha Aryal and other defendants.

The staff of CIAA have submitted the files before the court and verifying  procedure has started, according to Dhan Bahadur Karki, the Special Court's spokesperson.

The Security Printing Center issued a request for bids to produce excise stickers for the Internal Revenue Service in 2022. 

Printcell was awarded the contract for the production of excise stickers in which CIAA smelled foul play.
