I am more active than in the People's War: Prachanda

Kathmandu: The Prime Minister, often known as "Prachanda," asserted that he is currently contributing more to the nation's efforts than he was during the People's War. Speaking on Friday at the Nepal Intellectuals' Organization national conference in Kathmandu, he claimed that he was still active in the last stages of his life, meeting the demands of the party, the movement, and the nation.

"My life is going to end soon. Compared to the People's War, I have served more now. Back then, life was easy. People utter words here and there on occasion to malign me but I have actively participated in the movement and the party as needed," he remarked. "I also have to find solutions for the issues facing the UML and Congress. I promise to stay involved till the very end of my life," he declared.

He stated that he is still working toward a new, more unifying process even in the face of the challenges posed by the party split. Furthermore, Prachanda emphasized that the parties to the peace deal are attempting to reach a final decision with mutual understanding.

He urged the party rank and file to follow in his footsteps and concentrate on developing the movement, the nation, and the party.
