Judicial Council meeting today, recommendation of SC judges on the agenda

Kathmandu: The Judicial Council meeting has been called for Thursday afternoon. According to the Secretariat of the Judicial Council, various agendas including the recommendations for the appointment of judges have been set for the meeting.

The Council is likely to make a recommendation of four judges for the appointment in Supreme Court.. There is an urgent need to recommend a vacant judge in the Supreme Court as Ananda Mohan Bhattarai, the senior-most judge of the Supreme Court, is about to retire

Similarly, the result  for the post of the District Judge has been received from the Public Service Commission. The Council will endorse the names as The Judicial Service Commission has already approved it.
