Sagendra Singh Crowned Mr. Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Kathmandu Metropolitan City has awarded the title of Mr. Kathmandu to Sagendra Singh this year. Singh was awarded the title of the second edition of Mr. Kathmandu organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City-22.

In the Mr. Kathmandu bodybuilding competition, Singh from Divine Physical Fitness Center won the title from the above 75 kg weight group. He received Rs 1 lakh from the weight group competition and Rs 5 lakh along with the second 'Mr. Kathmandu' title, trophy, and banner from the overall competition.

Grace Maharjan had received the first 'Mr. Kathmandu' title in the first competition held last year. The winner was presented with a trophy, medal, and certificate by the acting chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Sunita Dangol. In the overall competition, Sabin Chaulagain from Gymtar in the 55 kg weight group, Amrit Gahatraj from FitX Gym in the 60 kg weight group, Nabraj Dumbre from Fitness Garage Thapathali in the 65 kg weight group, Madhav Subedi from Garage in the 70 kg weight group, Kshitij Thapa from Nepal Exercise Temple in the 75 kg weight group, and Rupma Singh from Divine in the above 75 kg weight group competed.

In the women's physics category, Sita Khatri from NRK Fitness secured the first position. She was awarded Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand in cash along with a medal and a certificate of appreciation. This year, there were competitions in nine categories for men. There were competitions in two categories for athletics physics. Competitions were held for women under athletics physics.

In the athletics physics category, the first prize for both men's and women's categories was Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand, and prizes for second to fifth place were Rs 75 thousand, Rs 50 thousand, Rs 25 thousand, and Rs 10 thousand respectively, along with trophies and medals.
