43 injured in a bus accident at Saljhandi

Butwal: 43 people were injured in a bus accident at Sainamaina, Rupandehi. The ill-fated bus with the number plate  Ra 1 Kha 2783 collided with the truck (Lu 1 Kha 687) that had broken down on the bridge at Saljhandi of Sainamaina-10. The bus was headed for Kathmandu from Dang, according to the District Police Office, Rupandehi.

Information Officer of District Police Office Rupandehi, DSP Manohar Prasad Bhatta, informed Ratopati that 43 persons were hurt in the collision, including the bus driver and passengers.

According to him, 24 patients are still receiving treatment at the various hospitals in Butwal, while 19 patients were discharged following general medical care.
