B&C has been recommended for affiliation

Kathmandu: B&C Medical College, run by Durga Prasai, has been recommended for affiliation. After the decision of the Supreme Court, Kathmandu University sent a letter with recommendations to the Medical Education Commission on Sunday.

Dr. Manoj Humagain, Dean of Kathmandu University, Department of Medical Science, told Ratopati that they have sent a letter to the Commission as per the Supreme Court's mandate to give the reference within 15 days.

He said that even though there had been correspondence before, the commission had stopped to grant affiliation. "Now, as there is a strict order by the court to provide the affiliation, We recommended for the same", he added.
