Prachanda held courtesy meeting with Modi

Kathmandu: A meeting was held between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Sunday evening. Prime Minister Prachanda congratulated his counterpart Modi for assuming the post of Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term. He also expressed his belief that the relationship between Nepal and India will reach a higher level during his third term.

In the meeting, they discussed the mutual relations between Nepal and India and various issues of bilateral interest. On that occasion, there was a discussion between them about the mutual relation and agreements made in the past.

Prime Minister Prachanda participated in the swearing-in ceremony on Sunday evening. He reached New Delhi, India on Sunday.

Prime Minister Prachanda is accompanied by his daughter Ganga Dahal, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Padam Giri, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal and other high-ranking government officials. Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to return home Monday evening.
