Anticipated Dignitaries at the General Convention of JSP-N
Kathmandu: Several foreign dignitaries are slated to attend the unity convention of Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal. The party disclosed that delegates from Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Spain, and Indonesia are scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu today for the Unity General Convention, which commences on June 10th in Janakpur.
Arjun Thapa, the head of the foreign affairs department of JSP-N, stated that Indian guests will travel to Darbhanga in Bihar before proceeding to Janakpur by road. Among the notable guests are Nur Rahim Bin Nisar, a young leader of the Democratic Action Party of Malaysia, and Dr. Sunilam, a prominent figure in the Samajwadi Party, India.
Furthermore, representatives such as Ricardo Torell, the International Coordinator of the Spanish Socialist Worker Party, Manis Singh, spokesperson of the Samajwadi Party of India, Alok Mehta, spokesperson of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, BR Patil, leader of the Indian National Congress, Udit Raj, spokesperson of the same party are expected to attend. Additionally, delegates from the Progressive Alliance and Social Democratic Alliance are anticipated.
Notably absent will be representatives from the Chinese Communist Party, although they conveyed their congratulations to JSP-N on the convention's success. Invitations have been extended to various parties, except Janata Samajwadi Party led by Ashok Rai, which is a splinter faction of Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal. Nepali Congress, CPN UML, Maoist Center, Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Nepal, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, and other parties have also received invitations, but it remains undecided which party's representatives will attend.
