Cabinet meeting convenes at Singha Durbar

Kathmandu: The Cabinet meeting has convened at Singha Durbar. Typically held on Mondays and Thursdays, this session commenced at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers' office. One minister disclosed the possibility of discussing the recall of ambassadors from certain countries during today's meeting.

"I'm not certain about the exact agenda, but there might be a proposal in the Council of Ministers regarding the recall of ambassadors," the minister stated. Additionally, the minister noted that the meeting might endorse Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda's upcoming visit to India.

With the recently concluded elections in India, BJP leader Narendra Modi is set to be appointed as Prime Minister for the third term. Prachanda is contemplating a visit to New Delhi on Sunday, following an invitation received on Modi's swearing-in day. However, a formal decision regarding this visit is pending.
