Two dead, seven injured in Doti jeep accident

Two people were killed and seven others were injured when a passenger jeep traveling from Darchula to Dhangadhi met with an accident at Khadina of Jorayal Rural Municipality-1 in Doti district.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhimalal Bhattarai, 40-year-old Dhaulidevi Dhami of Lekam Rural Municipality-4 Paitoli of Darchula died on the spot and Ritika Parki, a three-year-old girl from the same ward, died in the accident this morning.

Others who were injured in the accident are being treated at the local hospital. There were nine people in the jeep including the driver.
