CPN (Unified Socialist) Central Committee Meeting scheduled for May 10-11
KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has announced the convening of its central committee meeting in Kathmandu on May 10-11.
The meeting aims to deliberate on the party's ideological perspectives and address various pertinent issues.
Ghanashyam Bhusal, the General Secretary of CPN (Unified Socialist), revealed that the agenda would encompass discussions on the progress of people-based organizations, current political landscape, and the endorsement of newly organized members.
Moreover, the meeting will focus on allocating responsibilities to party leaders across different areas while ensuring provincial, regional, and geographical balance.
It will also establish criteria for selecting delegates for the upcoming national convention of the party.
During the meeting, Madhav Kumar Nepal, the party's chairperson, will present a report on the contemporary political scenario, while General Secretary Bhusal will present the organizational report.
It's worth noting that the CPN (Unified Socialist) has already finalized plans to conduct its national general convention in Kathmandu from June 30 to July 4.
