National Assembly gears up for Vice Chair election today

KATHMANDU: Today, all eyes are on the National Assembly (NA) as it prepares for the election of its Vice Chair, slated for this Wednesday.

The NA session is scheduled to commence at 1 pm, focusing primarily on selecting a new Vice Chairman.

In contention for the esteemed position are Vishnu Devi Pudasaini from the Nepali Congress and Bimala Ghimire from CPN-UML, both enjoying support from the ruling alliance.

With 58 members currently seated in the National Assembly and one vacancy awaiting presidential nomination, the stage is set for a crucial decision.
