Toyam Raya proposed as Auditor General

KATHMANDU: Toyam Raya has been put forward as the nominee for the crucial role of Auditor General.

In a decision taken during a recent Constitutional Council meeting, Raya, currently serving as the Secretary at National Statistics, was chosen for the position.

Pending a parliamentary hearing, President Ram Chandra Poudel is expected to appoint Raya to the esteemed role.
