Constitutional Council meeting today

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has taken a proactive step towards fostering national consensus by convening a crucial meeting of the Constitutional Council today.

In a bid to promote dialogue and unity among various political factions, Prime Minister Prachanda emphasized the importance of bringing all stakeholders to the table for constructive discussions.

In a recent development, the Prime Minister hosted a significant gathering of top leaders from three major political parties - Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, and Maoist Center. Held at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar, the meeting was characterized by constructive deliberations on key national issues.

During the discussion, Prime Minister Dahal, along with UML Chairman KP Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, explored avenues for finalizing the peace process and ensuring the smooth functioning of the regular parliament.

Prime Minister Dahal's Press Adviser, Govind Acharya, highlighted the meeting's focus on prioritizing parliamentary business and fostering a unified approach towards addressing pressing national challenges.
