Nepal 'A' opts to field first against Ireland Wolves

KATHMANDU: After a tough defeat to Ireland 'A' in their first T20 clash on Friday, Nepal 'A' is ready for a comeback in their second match today.

At the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal 'A' won the toss and decided to field first.

Despite Lokesh Bam's brilliant century in the previous game, Nepal faced a loss on their home ground.

But the team is determined to turn things around and secure a win in the upcoming match.

In the first game, Nepal fell short of Ireland 'A's target, getting all-out for 201 runs in 19.3 overs.

As the series progresses, Nepal and Ireland 'A' are set to compete in three T20 and one-day matches each.

With pressure mounting after the first match loss, Nepal is keen to bounce back and clinch victories in the remaining games.

After the T20 series, Nepal and Ireland 'A' will switch to a one-day series starting from April 3.

The series will wrap up with the final match on March 7 at Kirtipur Ground.

Facing Ireland 'A', a team they've encountered in two T20 series before, Nepal knows the challenge ahead. However, they remain confident in their abilities and are determined to perform well to secure victories.
