Nepal 'A' faces uphill battle after Ireland Wolves' strong 223-run target

KATHMANDU: Nepal 'A' faces a tough challenge as Ireland Wolves set a target of 223 runs in the T20 opener.

Winning the toss, Nepal 'A' chose to bowl first against Ireland Wolves at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground. Kamal Singh Airee impressed with three wickets, while Sagar Dhakal and Aarif Sheikh grabbed one each for Nepal.

Ireland Wolves posted a strong 222-run total in 20 overs, with Peter Joseph Moor leading with 49 runs, supported by Cade Carmichael and Neil Alan Rock, who scored 38 each.

Stephen Thomas Doheny's 34 runs also contributed to the challenging total.
