Two individuals arrested in Kathmandu for alleged involvement in international drug smuggling

KATHMANDU: Authorities in Kathmandu have apprehended two individuals suspected of being part of an international drug smuggling operation.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has disclosed that the arrested individuals hold Brazilian citizenship.

In addition to the arrests, the bureau has confiscated 1.455 kilograms of cocaine, as stated by Rameshwor Karki, spokesperson for the bureau.

Reports suggest that the detainees were involved in smuggling cocaine from Sao Paulo, Brazil, to Nepal.
