Say no activities against country: Chair Oli

Kathmandu - CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said activities against the welfare of the nation for the greed of some benefit and positions must be shunned. 

Inaugurating the seventh National Convention Representatives Council of the General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT) here Thursday, Chairman Oli said that activities were being made to weaken the sovereignty and territorial integrity in a planned way. 

He also pointed out that three-tier of election should be held as per the constitutional provision and all political parties should be honest in this regard. 

According to him, the trade union movement in Nepal started from Birtanagar has now become effective and has reflected in election results. 

GEFONT Chairperson Bishnu Prasad Rimal said that the role of workers was significant to change society and its development.
