Government to reveal Common Minimum Programme today
KATHMANDU: The eagerly awaited common minimum programme (CMP) for the upcoming fiscal year will be unveiled today by the government.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is set to reveal the CMP, as confirmed by the PM Dahal's Private Secretariat.
The programme, jointly prepared by power-sharing parties, will be made public at 10:00 am from the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
The unveiling follows a thorough examination of the CMP by top leaders, which was prepared by a taskforce representing key political parties including CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Janata Samajbadi Party, and CPN (Unified Socialist).
