Former Vice President's son arrested in Kathmandu for alleged gold smuggling

KATHMANDU: Son of former Vice President Nanda Kishwor Pun Pasang, Dipesh Pun, was apprehended on Friday.

The arrest was made by a specialized police team dispatched from the Police Headquarters in Kathmandu.

The arrest, which took place in Toka, Kathmandu.

According to a high leval official at the Police Headquarters, Dipesh was arrrested in connection with his alleged involvement in a gold smuggling case.
