PM Dahal to face vote of confidence in HoR on March 13

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is slated to undergo a crucial test of confidence in the House of Representatives on March 13.

The Prime Minister's secretariat dispatched a formal letter to the federal parliament on Sunday, formally requesting the necessary arrangements for the upcoming vote of confidence.

PM Dahal's decision to seek a vote of confidence comes in the wake of recent political developments, notably the formation of a new government.

In a significant political shift, the Prime Minister dissolved his alliance with the Nepali Congress and forged new partnerships with the CPN-UML, RSP, CPN (US), and JSP.

This realignment of political alliances underscores a strategic maneuver aimed at consolidating power and potentially reshaping the political landscape of Nepal.
