Nepali Congress appoints Sitaula as NA parliamentary party leader

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has appointed Krishna Prasad Sitaula as the parliamentary party leader in the National Assembly (NA).

The decision was made by NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Saturday, in accordance with Article 12(1) of the NC Parliamentary Party Statute (Amendment and Revision, 2074).

Sitaula's appointment as the NA parliamentary party leader signifies a strategic move by the NC to bolster its representation and leadership within the upper house of the Parliament.
