Chairman Dahal admits leadership failure behind poor results in local elections

Lalitpur - Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the leaders and cadres could not shrug off from their responsibility by blaming people behind poor show in the local election. 

"Although we tried a lot to turn victorious in many places, we failed to achieve the expected results. We can't be excused behind this by blaming the voters," he buttressed, adding that time had come for the party to make serious assessment of the party organization. 

During a programme organized at Thasikhel here Wednesday, Chairman Dahal however said the country was adopting his party's agenda, and the government he led this time had accomplished historic activities. 

According to him, unity among revolutionary forces was essential. 

Chairman Dahal also argued that the factions quitting the party failed to prove the relevance of splitting the party.
