CPN-UML's conditional alliance: Ready to join forces if Maoist Center dissolves ruling coalition

KATHMANDU: Following a crucial secretariat meeting, the CPN-UML has signaled its readiness to navigate the evolving political landscape in Nepal.

Convened at the residence of UML's Chair KP Sharma Oli in Balkot, the meeting, according to Pradeep Gyawali, deputy-general secretary of the party, extensively deliberated on the prevailing political dynamics.

Expressing concerns over the imminent fracture within the current ruling alliance, Gyawali emphasized that the CPN-UML is prepared to collaborate with other political entities should Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal opt to dissolve the existing coalition.

The party's stance underscores a strategic willingness to engage in dialogue and forge alliances to ensure the continuity and stability of governance in Nepal.
