Deuba asserts coalition government stability, dismisses issues

CHITWAN: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has affirmed that there are no issues among the political parties within the coalition government.

During a brief interaction with the media, the former Prime Minister, who is in Chitwan today to participate in the inauguration of the Bharatpur Visit Year 2024, expressed confidence that the ruling alliance will remain united.

Deuba emphasized the importance of soliciting diverse opinions from political leaders and party members as part of the political dialogue process. He further stated that the selection of the National Assembly chairperson will be finalized through discussions within the ruling coalition.

The visit to Chitwan also saw the arrival of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and former Prime Minister and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal on Thursday to partake in the program.

The formal inauguration of the Bharatpur Visit Year is slated to occur at 1:00 pm today on the banks of the Narayani River.
