The coveted distinction comes following a meticulous evaluation of minimum service standards, marking a remarkable achievement for the hospital.

Dr. Sudarshan Thapa, the esteemed Medical Superintendent of the hospital, expressed profound pride as Lumbini Provincial Hospital secures the top position for the third consecutive time in the evaluation of minimum service standards for secondary B level hospitals.

Earning an impressive score of 89 points in this year's evaluation, Lumbini Provincial Hospital's triumph underscores its unwavering dedication to excellence in healthcare delivery.

The evaluation process, overseen by the Directorate of Health Minimum Service Standards Evaluation Committee, meticulously scrutinized various facets of hospital operations, emphasizing areas such as governance, clinical management, and support services.

Comprising representatives from the Federal Ministry of Health and Population, the Lumbini Province Health Directorate in Dang, and the prestigious Nick Simmons Institute in Kathmandu, the evaluation committee ensured a comprehensive assessment of Lumbini Provincial Hospital's performance.
