Netherlands clinches victory over Namibia by seven wickets
KATHMANDU: In the third match of the ICC CWC League 2, the Netherlands secured a comprehensive victory over Namibia by seven wickets.
Chasing a modest target of 124 runs, the Netherlands achieved victory with the loss of only three wickets in 27.2 overs.
Michel Levitt led the charge with a stellar knock of 57 runs, featuring eight boundaries and two maximums.
On the bowling front, Aryan Dutt shone for the Dutch side, claiming six crucial wickets and limiting Namibia to a total of 123 runs in 35.1 overs.
The series kicked off with Namibia's victory over Nepal by four wickets in the opening match.
However, Nepal swiftly bounced back in the second match, overpowering the Netherlands by nine wickets.
Following today's result, all three teams have amassed two points each in the tournament standings.
Nepal currently leads the points table, edging ahead on the basis of run rate, followed closely by Namibia and the Netherlands.
