KATHMANDU: In a captivating showdown, Nepal clinched a resounding victory over Canada in the inaugural match of the Nepal-Canada Bilateral ODI Series.

Nepal's bowlers delivered an outstanding performance, restricting Canada to a total of 225 runs in 47.4 overs.

Led by Captain Rohit Poudel's exceptional bowling, who claimed four crucial wickets, the Nepali bowlers showcased their skill and determination on the field.

The foundation for Nepal's triumph was laid by Kushal Bhurtel's stellar batting display, amassing a commendable 62 runs.

Bhim Sarki's valuable contribution of 17 runs further bolstered Nepal's innings, setting the stage for a formidable total.

Additionally, the collective efforts of Kushal Malla, Aasif Sheikh, and captain Rohit Poudel, each scoring eight runs, further consolidated Nepal's dominance in the match.
