Karnali sets target of 207 runs for APF in PM Cup showdown

KATHMANDU: Karnali Province has set a target of 207 runs for Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) in their latest clash in the Prime Minister Cup.

Having won the toss and elected to field at the Tribhuvan University cricket ground, APF efficiently contained Karnali Province to a total of 206 runs in 44.1 overs.

Himanshu Shahi emerged as a key player for Karnali Province, delivering an impactful performance with 62 runs, featuring seven sixes and two fours. Arjun Gharti made a significant contribution with 53 runs, including three sixes and one four.

Captain Rabindra J Shahi scored 22 runs, and Dipendra Rawat added 27 runs to bolster APF's innings.

For APF, Mousam Dhakal showcased an impressive performance, securing the highest number of wickets with three dismissals. Amar S Routela and Bhuvan Karki contributed with two and one wicket, respectively.

The stage is now set for an intriguing match as APF aims to chase down the formidable target set by Karnali in the ongoing Prime Minister Cup.
