PM Dahal calls ruling coalition meeting to review National Assembly election
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has convened a meeting of the ruling alliance to discuss the outcomes of the recently concluded National Assembly (NA) election.
Sources reveal that the meeting is scheduled for 4 PM today.
The ruling alliance, in a united front, secured victories in 18 out of 19 seats during the NA election.
The meeting's primary agenda is a comprehensive review of the coalition's performance in this crucial electoral exercise.
While celebrating success, the ruling coalition did face a setback in Koshi Province, where a candidate from CPN (Maoist Center) was defeated by the main opposition party, CPN-UML.
Key participants in the meeting are expected to include representatives from the Dr CK Raut-led Janamat Party, Resham Chaudhary-led Nagarik Unmukti Party, and Chitra Bahadur KC-led Rastriya Janamorcha Party, in addition to prominent coalition members.
