CPN-UML and RPP to form alliance for joint contest in NA election in Koshi Province

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML, the main opposition party, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have announced their collaborative efforts to contest the upcoming National Assembly (NA) election in Koshi Province.

In the province, the election is being held for two seats in the National Assembly, one from women cluster and another from others cluster.

To facilitate this collaboration, the UML and RPP have mutually agreed to support each other's candidates for the designated seats.

Bhakti Prasad Sitaula, the parliamentary party member of RPP, shared that the CPN-UML has pledged its support for RPP's candidate Uddav Puudel in Koshi Province. In return, the RPP will reciprocate by endorsing Rukmani Koirala, the UML candidate, during the election in the province.

This strategic alliance aims to strengthen the prospects of both parties in the NA election and enhance their representation in Koshi Province.
