Chairman Purushottam Khanal resigns from Nepal Telecommunications Authority

KATHMANDU: Purushottam Khanal, the Chairman of the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA), has officially stepped down from his role.

Chairman Khanal submitted his resignation to the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma, on Tuesday, according to a high level official at NTA. 

This move comes amidst ongoing controversies related to TERAMOCS, MDMS, and the land transactions of Radio Nepal. Khanal's resignation marks a crucial development in the telecommunications sector, raising concerns about the handling of various projects and transactions within the NTA.
