Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar meets President Poudel

KATHMANDU: Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar engaged in a productive meeting with President Ram Chandra Poudel as part of his official visit to Kathmandu. Minister Jaishankar's visit is centered around his participation in the seventh edition of the Nepal-India Foreign Minister-level Joint Commission.

Having arrived in Kathmandu earlier in the day, Minister Jaishankar is set to participate in the commission meeting later this afternoon. The agenda includes discussions with political leaders, where he is scheduled to call on President of Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Chairman of CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli.

The diplomatic interactions aim to strengthen bilateral ties and foster cooperation between Nepal and India, addressing key regional and international concerns."
