APF secures PM Cup Women’s Cricket Trophy with 11-run victory

KATHMANDU: The Armed Police Force Club seized the PM Cup Women’s National Cricket Trophy in a thrilling final match against Koshi Province, securing an 11-run victory in today's highly anticipated encounter.

Batting first, APF set a target of 115 runs for Koshi Province, posting a competitive score of 114 runs within the allotted overs, losing seven wickets in the process. Star performances by Indu Barma, Jyoti Pandey, and others paved the way for APF's commanding total.

Despite a commendable effort from Koshi Province, which saw opener Rubina Chhetri scoring a half-century with 62 runs, they fell short, managing to score 103 runs and losing four wickets within the stipulated overs.

For Koshi Province,Afsari Begumclaimed three wickets, along with Aliya Khatiwada, Rubina Chhetri, and Nisha Shah securing two and one wicket(s) respectively.
