All-rounder Gulshan Jha to partake in U-19 Asia Cup as well

KATHMANDU, Nov 26: Gulshan Jha, an all-rounder player of the National Cricket team, will be playing in the U-19 Asia Cup as well. The 17-year-old Gulshan is an exceptional player of the senior National Cricket team. Just this year, he played in the Asia Cup co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka from the National team.

The U-19 Asia Cup is being held from December 8 to December 17, 2023, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where 8 teams are participating. In the tournament, Nepal is in Group ‘A’ along with Afghanistan, India and Pakistan. Bangladesh, Japan, Sri Lanka, and the organizer UAE, are in Group ‘B’.

Nepal will play its first match with Pakistan on December 8, second match with Afghanistan on December 10, and third match with India on December 12. Two teams will move on to the Semi-Finals from each group.
