510 grams of gold seized from Tribhuvan Airport

KATHMANDU, Oct 9: A total of 510 grams of gold has been seized from the Tribhuvan International Airport. The gold was reported to be smuggled from Malaysia by Navaraj Dhami through Malaysian Airlines.

TIA's Customs Chief Dr.Tokraj Pandey informed that Dhami was arrested at the Customs Office of the airport on Monday afternoon along with 510 grams of gold.

According to Pandey, the gold was found hidden inside a TV after Dhami was inspected for suspicion. He added that the investigation is ongoing in this matter.
