Bhim Rawal not invited to UML Sudurpashchim Provincial Congress
KATHMANDU, Oct 8: The First Congress of the CPN UML Sudurpashchim Provincial Committee is beginning on Sunday, today. To inaugurate the Congress, leaders of UML including Chairman KP Sharma Oli and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, have already reached Dhangadhi.
However, an influential leader of Sudurpashchim Bhim Rawal, who is also the former Vice Chairman of CPN UML, is absent from the Congress of his own home Province. Speaking to Ratopati, Rawal said that he was not invited to the Congress, so he did not participate in it.
Rawal has not been active in UML politics after UML Chair KP Sharma Oli did not give him a ticket in the last election. Even though Chair Oli and Rawal had a conversation around the middle of August, UML has not given him any party responsibilities.
