Toddler killed in tractor-hit

Gaushala - A two-year-old boy was killed and his mother seriously injured when a tractor hit them while they were crossing the road at Loharpatti Bazar at Loharpatti Municipality in Mahottari district Tuesday night. 
The incident took place as a tractor (registration plate Ja 1 Ta 9173) going towards Janakpur from Loharpatti Bazar hit the mother and son when they were crossing the road in front of their house at Bagara. The toddler, Aayush Yadav, died on the spot and the mother, Urmila Yadav, sustained serious injuries, the District Police Office, Mahottari said. She is undergoing treatment at the Janakpur Zonal Hospital. 
Police has impounded the tractor driver and the tractor for necessary investigation.
