19th Asian Games: Tennis players Mahika and Abhilasha defeated in first game

KATHMANDU, Sep 24: Nepalese Tennis players Mahika Rana and Abhilasha Bista have been defeated in the 19th Asian Games in their first games.

Park Sohyun from South Korea defeated Mahika in the Women’s singles. In the first set Park won with a score of 6-0, and won with a 6-1 score in the second set.

Abhilasha Bista was also defeated in another match of the Women’s singles by Sawangkaew Mananchaya of Thailand. The Thai player won with a score of 6-0 in both sets in a best of three.

Similarly, in the Men’s doubles as well, Nepalese players have been defeated in their first game by Indian players with a score of 6-2, 6-3. The team of Abhishek Bastola and Pradeep Khadka lost to the team of Saketh Sai Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan.
