Unified Socialist meeting postponed due to teachers' protests

KATHMANDU, Sep 21: The Secretariat meeting of the CPN-Unified Socialist has been postponed as the teacher's protests have led to a traffic jam.

Jagannath Khatiwada, the Deputy General Secretary and the Chief of the Publicity Department, informs that the meeting called for 10:30 am in the party office has been postponed as the leaders could not reach the office.

"The road has become jumbled due to the teachers' protests and the leaders could not come, so the meeting has been postponed," said Khatiwada, "The meeting has been postponed to Saturday."

The party was scheduled to discuss the inter-party directives and the Mechikali Campaign which will start on October 1.
