Congress Central Committee meeting being held today

KATHMANDU, Sep 21: The Central Committee meeting of the Nepali Congress is being held at the party office in Sanepa at 1 pm today. Chief Secretary of Nepali Congress Krishna Prasad Paudel said that contemporary politics, internal party structure and other topics will be discussed in the meeting today.

The meeting will review the party's internal special campaign, policy hackathon and BP literature festival that were held from August 5 to 15. In the internal special campaign, the Nepali Congress had appointed central representatives in all 77 districts. Congress organized a policy hackathon on 'Gig Economy' and 'Climate Action' with the aim of involving youth in policy making.

Congress selected the three best concepts from the policy hackathon on August 26. Similarly, Congress organized the BP Literature Festival on September 10, 11 and 20 with grandeur.

In addition, the meeting will decide the agendas of the general committee meeting called for the upcoming 13th, 14th and 15th of November. Congress will also set the policy for the upcoming general committee meeting.

The Congress has taken the Central Committee meeting starting from September 21 as preparation for the General Committee meeting.
