Bishwa Prakash and Pradeep not participating in meeting called by Shekhar Koirala

KATHMANDU, Sep 19: The General Secretary of Nepali Congress Bishwa Prakash Sharma and leader Pradeep Paudel will not be participating in the meeting called by Dr. Shekhar Koirala. Koirala has called a meeting with his group for 2 pm on Tuesday, today at his contact office in Baluwatar.

Koirala’s Secretariat had invited General Secretary Sharma and Central member Paudel to the meeting of his group for the first time.

When Sharma became victorious for the General Secretary from the panel of leader Prakash Man Singh in the 14th Convention of the party, Paudel was also a candidate for the General Secretary from the panel of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

A source close to General Secretary Sharma informed that he will not be participating in the meeting saying it is not appropriate for the General Secretary of the party to participate in the meeting of another leader’s group before the Central Committee meeting. 

Leader Paudel is also not participating in the meeting as he is heading to China this afternoon.
