Two Sindhupalchowk ANNFSU leaders pass away in road accident

KATHMANDU, Sep 16: Two leaders of ANNFSU Sindhupalchowk have died in a road accident at Araniko Highway.

ANNFSU Sindhupalchowk co-coordinator Navin Pandey and district committee member Samir Dong received severe injuries after a petrol tanker collided with a motorcycle at Sukute in Araniko Highway, Sindhupalchowk.

They were in critical condition after the accident and were brought to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment. They passed away in the same hospital according to the police.

Balephi Police Office has informed that the accident occurred after a petrol tanker numbered Na 8 Kha 375, heading to Kathmandu from Khadichaur, collided with a motorcycle numbered Province 2 031 Oa 5976, which was heading towards Khadichaur. The tanker driver has been detained, the police informed.
