Unified Socialist nominates 21 central members

Hari Parajuli nominated as party's secretary

KATHMANDU, Sep 14: CPN-Unified Socialist has nominated 21 people as its central members. They were nominated as central members according to the decision of the Central Committee meeting held from August 22 to 24.

The party's Chairman Madhav Nepal issued inter-party directions and mentioned that 21 people, including the former ANNFSU Chairman Sudesh Parajuli, have been nominated.

Along with Parajuli, Aja Bahadur Malla, Om Charan Amatya, Gautam Rai, Govinda Chepang, Chanda Shrestha, Chiranjibi Bhattarai, Jay Prakash Yadav and Dipak KC are among the nominated members.

Similarly, Dhan Bahadur Karki, Dharma Shahi, Nanda Banjade, Barunath Yogi, Baikuntha Bhusal, Bhakti Man Subba, Mina Lama, Ram Prasad Dhungana, Lanka Hamal, Shalik Ram Bhattarai, Shiva Kumari Khanal and Shailendra Upadhyaya have been nominated as central members.

The party has also nominated the former minister, Hari Parajuli, as the Secretary of the party. Parajuli had joined the Unified Socialist Party through the CPN Unity National Campaign led by Bamdev Gautam.

He was nominated as a standing committee member after joining the party and now has been nominated as the Secretary. He has also been given the responsibility of the in-charge of the Lumbini Province.

Similarly, the CPN-Unified Socialist has nominated Rajeev Gurung (Deepak Manange) as a member of the Central Council according to the inter-party direction.

Manange was unanimously elected as an independent candidate from Manang's Provincial Assembly-2. He joined the Unified Socialist last Mangsir.
