Prachanda: No worries about government collapsing, campaign against corruption will not stop

KATHMANDU, Sep 11: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that those who were frightened by the government's anti-corruption campaign have been conspiring against the government.

Addressing the message meeting held by the Socialist Front on Monday, Prime Minister Prachanda claimed that he was not worried about how long his government would last when running the anti-corruption campaigns.

"I am not worried about how long the government will last… I am committed to executing the anti-corruption campaign until the end", said the Prime Minister.

He also added that the anti-corruption campaign, that started with the fake Bhutanese refugees, has progressed through various cases such as the gold smuggling and the Lalita Niwas case.

Prime Minister Dahal also commented on the new parties saying that those, who entered the scene by insulting the parties, have started looking like the parties.

"I can't look at them. Their characters are unsightly. The same types have come. They are the brokers of despotism. Attacking the leader of a Democratic party with a khukuri? Now the Front will strike back", said Prachanda.

"We should take millions of people to the streets and make a statement that we are still alive", he said, "I am in a political fight. I am fighting an unarmed war, and I need your support."
